I'm on vacation and my old boss is taking me and my husband out for dinner tomorrow - sushi and Thai food (they serve both). After about
a week of no bleeding and stools that were half formed, I woke up today with D and some blood.
I'm definately going to say no to the Thai food, as I had some yesterday at our holiday potluck (like a couple spoonfulls, but it was super spicy), and since this restaurant serves sushi as well, I wondered how that would be on the colon.
I'd stick to plain tuna and rice type sushi and steer clear of any of the spicy rolls. I have been looking forward to this dinner for a while and while I was just coming out of this flare, I was planning on taking it easy and not going overboard.
Have any of you had sushi while in a flare? Would you chance it?
