Yes, it took awhile before that spasming effect went away. I still get it every so often though. Here's a tip: eat smaller meals throughout the day. I find when I eat big meals, I tend to go more often. The smaller meals seem to digest better and I don't get that feeling of having to go. It took me a while to figure myself out, but I think I have it down pretty well now. I used to have what I called "dump days" about
every three days when I still went a lot, but now I go just twice a day at the most and formed bms...no blood. So I think you are on the right track.
