So I am 22 year old female. about two months ago I would get tired and out of breath with walking. A couple times I woke up in a panic with a rapid hear rate. I ended up in the ER and hospital where I was diagnosed with tachycardia.
Speeding it up to the present, it has been decided that I have postural tachycardia. When I am standing for a while I get dizzy or tight chested and my blood pressure goes up to 145/102 but my pulse was only 89. Other times it is 118/81 but my pulse is 125.
I was put on a very low dose of beta blocker but it is having the opposite happen now. When I lay down or relax I can get light headed and my blood pressure is 90/55 pulse 62.
Does anyone have this? Any suggestions? I am scared that I am going to die from this or that it will never be treated.

Hi Kimbo7, Welcome to Healing Well forum, we are glad to have you.

I dont know too much about postural tachycardia but I have an autonomic disorder called Multiple System Atrophy which one of its major causes is that I have orthostatic hypotensin (very low blood pressure) when changing positions.  I also have bradycardia (low heart rate) with a pacemaker implant.

A lot of these conditions are neurological and not heart related.  My condition is kept under control by several medications and monitoring my diet and blood pressure several times a day.

My question to you is do you have a good cardiologist?  And do you have a good neurologist?  If not you may want to start looking for one as this is not something you would want your PCP treating.

Here is a link on this disorder from a really good site.
