  Hello,
On a recent visit to my cardiologist I was told that my ef had dropped from about 35 to about 22 since Dec.07., just two months and a total drop of around 30 since last March.
I'm wondering if silent ischemia my be responsible for the dramatic drop? I have been diagnosed with chf and ischemis cardiomyopathy , after 3 M.I.s, avr and bypasses.
My cardio is referring me to The Texas Heart Institute in Houston for more tests. Got any ideas?
    Thanks,

Hi jrod, With all you have going on with your heart your EF will go down as time passes.  I am a bit surprised that with a EF of 35 in Dec. 07 your doc didnt follow up with you sooner.
Please do keep us posted on how your doing and how it goes at the Texas Heart Ins.
