Hi All

I do post normally on the Gerd section. To cut the long story short. I moved to the USA 3 years ago this June from England, I married an American I am 41 & have 3 children 1 is nearly 20 & still lives in England with my mum as she felt thats her home & she was happy & she wanted me to be happy & told me to go as she was getting older & will most likely get married & did not want me to be all alone, the other 2 children are 19 months & 8 months. The beginning of all my problems started when pregnant with my last child, after a very long pregnancy because they would not give me test while pregnant. I had an ultrasound on the liver & pancreas & gallbladder as I had a burning sensation at the top of the back & burning sensation in the throat that made me want to cough all the time, This test came out normal so then they tested me for a trapped nerve in the spine which also came out normal. I had various blood test done which were normal including thyroid. So now the doctor decided to send me for an endoscope which came out esophogitis & gastisitis this was done October 2007, I was prescribed various ppi's as each one seemed not to help me, still same problem. In November I had the same burning sensation at the top of the back that extended to under left arm & down left arm with chest pain & my jaw hurt, I went to ER as i was concerned, they gave me an ecg, ct scan of the chest & heart & various blood work which all came back normal so sent me home saying it was Gerd. I had the 48 hour ph bravo test recently which i have not had the results back as of yet but as they were inserting the capsule into my esophagus they noticed all my esophagus had completely healed which is good news but now leads me to thinking where are these pains coming from.

On Feb the 16th I took the whole family to England to see my mum & daughter, while there the pain seem to subsided a lot but not completely gone, come back & the pain is much worse. I keep wanting to go back to the doctor or ER but keep saying to myself its a mind thing.

I would really appreciate your opinions & advice as this is really taken control over my body.

My latest symptoms is aching pain uner the left arm that extents down to the fingers, mild chest pain but sometimes it hurts more & burning sensation at the top of the back. my teeth seem to hurt as well & my throat feels like i have a lump in it & need to cough to try & nudge it.

Thankyou in advance for your replies
