Hi there, I have had an Echo test, XRay and ECG and blood tests due to increasing symptoms and an ER visit. Doc says normal and not to worry, but symptoms continue. I picked up copies of the test results myself last week and they are NOT normal. I worry that my recent diagnosis of depression and anxiety are causing doctors to overlook symptoms (that I had complained of prior to diagnosis of depression/anxiety) and test results. Can you look at symptoms and TEST RESULTS and let me know if there is anything more I should do? I am very worried.

CURRENT SYMPTOMS:

EDEMA of feet, legs, hands, arms and torso, SHORTNESS of BREATH, GERD, resting PULSE 100+, slight activity PULSE 125+, chronic constipation, DIZZY/FAINT, VISION problems, intermittent CHEST PAIN, dry cough, weight increase and change from "pear" to "apple" shape, bruising, slow cut healing

DIAGNOSE TO DATE:

CHILDHOOD Chronic KIDNEY INFECTIONS

CURRENT - NARCOLEPSY 13 years ago, POST PARTUM HEMORAGE in 1976 and again in 1990, MENORHAGEA and EDEMA in 2005, FLUID OVERLOAD in 2006 (progressively increasing in spite of med increases) SOB, MIGRAINE and WEIGHT GAIN in 2007, SLEEP APNEA, GERD, Allergic RHINITUS, Mild Posterior SEPTAL DEFORMITY, TURBINATE HYPERTROPHY, MUCOSAL EDEMA in 2008. Now have depression and anxiety (complicated by frustration with undiagnosed symptoms)

CURRENT MEDICATIONS:

POLYETH GLYC 3350N, 1mg LORAZEPAM, 20mg OMEPRAZOLE, FLONASE 50 MCG/ACT NA SUSP (1 spray each nostril), 30mg CELEXA, 10mg ZYRTEC, .3mg EPI-PEN 1:1000 0.3MG INJ, 10mg MAXALT, EXCEDRIN EXTRA STRENGTH MIGRAINE, TRIAMCINOLONE ACETON IDE0.5% EXOINT,CALCIUM 500/D500-200mg, 100mg METHYLPHENIDATE ER, 40mg FUROSEMIDE, 2 TABS POTASSIUM CHLORIDE (K-DUR) 20MEQ, ASTELIN NASA 137 MCG (1 spray each daily)

I feel like the more meds I'm given the worse I get. Certainly my anxiety increases as I dislike taking meds and worry that they just serve to mask symptoms that my body is using to tell me something more is wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I agree, the more meds you take i believe it makes things worse. Meds are a band aid to the ultimate problem. Have you considered other natural alternatives?
