Hey there Meg. I see that you did this question a while ago, so I don't know if you have solved this issue.
I have not dealt with what your daughter is dealing with, nor have I known anyone who has, but I have the concern that your daughters doctor won't get specific about
the risks. I feel that it is his resposibility to let her know what could possibly happen so she can be ready for anything. I don't agree with dealing with the problems as they come up. For me, I want to know what the potential issues can be, and how they will be dealt with should they arise. And, if nothing goes wrong, then great, that is even better. This is just my opinion, and I had to put it here, because when I saw that her doctor wouldn't get into specific details, it bothered me. I dunno. That's just me though.
