For years now I have had sinus tachycardia and PAC's and PVC's.  I had a 24 hour event monitor in fall, and in 2003 I had a 3 week holter monitor and an echocardiogram, as well as various EKG's.  Everything proved to be normal excpet for these things.  The doctors reassure me that it is nothing to worry about. Mind over matter thing, but it's easier said than done.  I am 27 years old, I used to suffer from panic attacks now I rarely have them but I do have anxiety and inability to succuessfully cope with some stressful situations.  My question is, will this eventually turn into a more serious thing? Or is this really that common?  Also are there any other tests I should have done?
The other thing is, yesterday I had an episode where I felt really light-headed, exessive yawning and I think I was having ectopics at that time.  I know it's happened b4 in the past but, what is this?  Any help please, its greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Hey there leahbeans...I am sorry you are going through this, as issues with the heart can be so scary, especially you are 27. No one wants to have heart issues, so I understand your concerns.

Ifyou are comfortable with your doctor, then you need to trust in what he is saying. He is going to do what he can to keep you going, and if he is saying there is nothing to worry about, then there is nothing to worrry about. I know this is easier said than done, but worrying when you shouldn't is only going to make YOU feel worse.

Just keep with your doctor, and if you feel anything new, or worrysome, go to the ER, or call your doctor. Again though, I would have faith in what your doctor is saying, provided you are comfortable with him, which I hope you truly are.

Wishing you the best.

Hi rachie08, I am so glad you found Healing Well forum.  I understand what your going through as I have some PVC's that occur through the day.  My heart really doesnt know how to beat any longer.  I also understand the anxiety that comes along too.

I am sure you will get many more responses.  Please do feel free to visit some of Healing Well's other forums as well if you like.  Looking forward to hearing more from you ~ Take care

Well, I have been experiencing PVC's for the past three years.  The past month they have become more frequent.  I notice mine more after exercise.  I did have a few today which I took as an off day from exercise.  I read recently that foods with gluten can cause these?  I have never heard of that?  I don't believe everything I read on the internet.  I see my Cardiologist for the first time Monday.  I am hoping he will do a stress test.  I had a EKG which was normal a few years ago.  I also had a 24 holter too.  Nothing showed except PVC's at times and bradycardia (I think).  These are very scary, as I am worried my heart is going to stop:(
