My father died of a massive heart attack at the age of 48...no history of problems.  I am now 38 (female) with both of my pregnencies I had pregnancy induced hypertension.  Blood pressure returned to normal both times.  I have also always had a high resting pulse rate, around 100bpm.  about three years ago my ob sent me to see a cartiologist for resting pulse in the 120's and high blood pressure about 135/90.  Cardiologist heard my history ran a lot of tests and told me everything was fine, then put me on a beta blocker.  Several months later I got off of the beta blocker (he told me it was optional)  Fast forward three years.  I just had a physical, and she put me on Coreg cr 20mg.  My resting heart rate was averaging 105ish blood pressure 145/95.  Dropped my pulse to 88ish and bp to 133/84.  Raised my Coreg cr dose to 40mg and no change in pulse or bp.  All of my tests show nothing.  Dr. said it is not a weight issue.  I feel fine, but this is starting to worry me.  What else should I look into?
