I am 23 years old, and have recently been into hospital a few times for tests on my heart and chest.

I have had various symptoms such as breathlessness, tight chest, palpitations and a numbness in my left arm.

I had a blood pressure test, a chest x-ray, blood test and an ECG, all came back fine. I was then diagnosed with Acid Reflux, but am still convinced it could be my heart. The only thing that came back was that I had a slightly slow heartbeat.

After I try to get any sort of exercise it seems to get worse, and after I eat meals. Also the last couple of days I have been having sleeping problems. Last night I went to bed, and my heart was pounding and I started to sweat, and couldnt get to sleep for about 40 minutes. The same sort of thing happened at about 5am the other morning, when I woke up with the sam sort of conditions.

Naturally I am very concerned. Are there any heart conditions that this could be, that may not show up on an ECG?

Thanks for your help!

An anxiety attack could explain most of the above Sx. Any chance its that ? Would you describe yourself as calm and relaxed or uptight most of the time?

Those are strong indications that your heart is ok.
You might do a stress test to see how well your heart works under a load.
The worst after meals doesnt sound heart related.
