I am 38, dad died at 39 with massive heart attack and mom has severe diabetes, kidney and some heart problems. As I get Older, these family "issues" weigh heavily on my mind DAILY!  I've not been well lately. I was diagnosed years ago with MVP, and the PVC's from that is enough to make anyone bonkers!  I have read where many of you have over 1000 a day!  I'd probably be in the funny farm!  My 4 or 5 a day drive me insane!  I have been offered all the depression meds, and should be on one of them.  But I am afraid they will make the PVC's worse.  Can anyone relate to this and tell me if I should give it a try if you have ever been in my shoes?  Thanks guys..I was so relieved to find this site!

:-) You should not worry if your doctor has given you a clean bill of health. I had aortic valve replacement in May of 2000 and have had PVCs since. I know I have some everyday and just don't feel them and there are days I may have several thousand. Sometimes they drive me nuts. I have had echocardiograms, thallium stress tests, etc. and everything checks out fine. I have the tests every 2 or 3 years because of the artificial valve. If you're having just 4 or 5 a day with a healthy heart then give thanks because your 1 of millions that are fortunate enough to have that few in number.

When or if I get a little nervous I usually take a dramamine which settles me down. Never took any prescription drugs for anxiety, depression, etc.

I hope you feel better soon. I feel it's the anxiety that is getting to you. BTW, PVCs are normal cardiac activity in a healthy heart, everyone gets them.

Take care
