Hello, had a 5 bypass heart surgery almost 4 weeks ago. 36 yrs old. Healing well so far, knock on virtual wood. I have questions about red wine.

1. Is there a benefit to drinking it in my condition?
2. Is it safe to drink it in my condition?

Thanks.

I would ask the Doctor. After I had stents put in the Doctor had me try to drink sweet red wine to see if it would lower my cholesterol. But I couldnt do the alcahol, it made me sick. but I never have been able to drink. It also helps thin your blood.
