I was diagnosed with benign pvc's.  about a months ago.  I'm a smoker, and i drink, and drink coffee.  These pvs's really make me nervous.  I think about it soooo much that i make myself worry and get stressed and anxious about it.  I think about i all day long.  I'm on 37, and my dad has heart disease.  My dr. put me on klonopin for the anxiety, but I don't take it every day. I guess i'm wondering if anyone else has this same problem.   idea

If you are worried, then you should consider changing your smoking and drinking habits. All can contribute to your heart beat issues.

Sheri, look at the anxiety forum. We discuss palpitations all the time over there. You may get some help from reading those.

I suffer from "missed beats" all during the day. I gave up caffeine, I don't drink or smoke. I agree with Braveheart, that you must stop those things. They will definitely aggravate the heart. I take a beta blocker which does help some with the missed beats. Try giving up the drinking and smoking. Also, try taking the Klonopin regularly and see if these things help. But only take the Klonopin as directed by your doctor.
