...this irregular or one forceful heartbeat every 1 or 2 mins (sometimes every hour or more). It started last week. I cant remember if I have been drinking alcohol (probably 1 to 3 bottle of beers). Its not painful, but annoying. I can feel it in my throat on some of the forceful beats.

* I'm not stressed out or worried
* Not over-weight
* I do not drink caffeine or energy drinks
* Do not take (stimulated) vitamins
* Im 38 and 200lbs (losing weight)
* Excerise daily
* Eat small meals daily

It occurs when I sit down or walk. Is it serious or what as I'm feeling fine as usual. My friends were telling me its normal and some were telling me its possible ectopic heartbeat or arrhythmia.

Thank you!

At one time I had some of what you have. The cardio dr put me on a 30 day heart monitor. At that time I had some PVCs which he said ain't bad and he don't treat.

hey, im actually on this for neurology help, but since i am a cardiac nurse i thought i could help.

ask your cardiologist for an event monitor, thats the 30 day monitor, and until then, keep a journal of when this is occuring and how long it lasts, and if you feel anything else--like lightheadedness, or feeling dizzy. there are alot of medications they can do to help this.
