Does any one have any information on were to find normal values for a childs EKG.  My son is 5 and having syncope episodes he had an EKG and here are his numbers:
Vent rate  66 bpm
PR interval 116ms
QRS duration 78 ms
QT/QTc  398/417 ms
P-R-T axes 36 50 36

i can to an extent, i am a cardiac nurse,not a pediatric cardiac, so i dont know the numbers--i know the vent rate is his heart rate and that is normal. his cardiologist should be the one to interperate them. if he is having syncope, the best thing to do is for him to wear a holter monitor if you think his symptoms will occur within 48 hours, otherwise suggest an event monitor, he wears one for a month, and pushes a button when he/ or you feel symptoms coming.
