   Hi all!
Let me start by saying that after several family members died relatively close together from some form of heart issues, I developed panic attacks which mocks all symptoms of heart attack. I am 41 in generally good shape, bp great cholestoral 221 but tris under 150 and 129/69 on good and bad chol. So I have had my heart checked out ALOT because of this panic stuff so today I was on the phone with a coworker and suddenly I got what I would say was a muscle spasm in the area of my left breast then it was gone. I feel fine no other kind of symptoms but it kinda freaked me out. Has anyone had this? Can the heart spasm or was it just my peck muscle do that? Anyone have any ideas? Should I be concerned or is it my panic just making it out to be more?  Thanks

My question to you would be, Do you have any BP issues. You can also have spikes in BP and go right back to normal and never know there is a BP issues. Usually 1 week of taking your BP 3x a day will show if it spikes at times.

BTW my name is Laurie......

I was hopitalized yesterday for what I thought was a heart attack but it acually was Hypertension Urgency. My BP increased to 224/121. The cardiologist stated the heart was working to hard and was stretching the heart muscles causing the pain. I was in danger without a heart attack.

My pain only lasted tops 15 minutes and I feel no pain right now 24 hours later. It might be something to look into. I used to have panic attacks but this felt so much worse then those..

Laurie

PS I get pain in the chest when my bp increases alittle. Some people it doesn't take much.

Everything is always ok with me..lol I always feel its better to be safe then sorry. Might be because I'm stubborn and sometimes will let things get out of hand before I go in to get poked and prodded..lol

Hope you find some answers.
