Whenever I exercise strenuously i get very sick. I generally do not vomit, but i lay down and it takes about 10-15 mins to recover. During this time I can hardly walk it is terrible. I am fairly fit as I have been playing soccer for about 3 years and have learned to pace myself. It is when I push myself at around 100% for 30 seconds or more and then a few mins later I am out of it. It is like i have an reaction to the lactic Acids.
The best way to describe the feeling, is like being completely inebriated and when you lay down your head spins.

I am interested to see if anyone else suffers from the same problem and if so, how you manage it.

Have you seen a doctor, do you know if you have any conditions with your heart? Is your pulse high/low? What kind of symptoms do you have and how consistent are they?

I was very fit and active before my wave of medical problems crashed into me...I'm still swirling there somewhere. Going to do something as simple as take a shower, walk to the kitchen, or take out the trash=these are all huge obstacles for me.. I get very dizzy, my chest is constantly sore and heavy, I have confusion-it's very hard to focus and speak articulately.. I began fainting in the shower, so now I have to sit down to wash. Any normal small task sets it off.. I thought this would be a we'll see how ya, monitor a while.. I also have fibromyalgia and arthritis and that combined with a heart problem.. uhg!

I get foggy and confused sometimes, the intelligent self is hidden under several layers of medical bills. Sorry if my posts don't make as much sense as they were intended to.

***Bradycardia Symptoms:
Near-fainting or fainting (syncope)
Dizziness
Weakness
Fatigue
Shortness of breath
Chest pains
Disturbed sleep
Confusion or memory impairment
Easily tiring during physical activity
*..I have every single one =/

I have bradycardia and it's knocked me into bedrest for two weeks. I was in the ER Friday & my heart rate dropped into the lower 40s..I was placed on a monitor and it stayed at 43 and above..they wanted to keep me longer and do another iv to raise my blood pressure and see if the heart rate would go up, but I was far too exhausted. I promised to follow up with my physician and cardiologist to do further testing.. My other medical problems make life difficult, but this one has just knocked me flat on my face. I feel so depleted and my mobility is very poor, I can't drive, & I can't take my daughter outside=I'd never catch her. =(
Fibromyalgia. Bradycardia. Arthritis. IBS. Reynauds. & sadly, Sarcasm-it's a terrible condition. =P

ryball,

Welcome to HealingWell.

These forums are a resource for those living with or affected by heart and cardiovascular disease.

You sound like you are very active so may I suggest you make an appointment with your physician for a medical screening exam to see what is causing your sx.

Kindly,

Kitt
