im at my wits end here.. I have some stomach ulcers which doctor confirmed with endoscopy..
My stomach does not bother me..however any type of prologned activity causes a severe attack of tachardia (sp.) especially after eating.  I am afraid to excercise because of this..
Both my GI doc & regular doctor have not been concerned about this but there is obviously something wrong..im not anxious about anything..im also on Ramipril 5mg (blood pressure) and zoloft..but nothing affects the tachardia..I also took nexium and this seemed to have no effect although im supposed to take it for ulcers.
Ive had
Barium Swallow
Pulmonary function Test
Blood tests
Xrays of chest/stomach xrays
Stress test/ EKG

Everything comes back ok, except for endoscopy which showed ulcers

My question is, what are the remaining tests I can get to  "cover akll the bases"..
Cause I strongly feel they havent found the problem yet..

Can a colon obstruction or an unhealthy colon cauyse the heart to go all wacky like this?

Thanks (sorry for the long post lol)

Hi Martin,

You would know if you had a complete obstruction of your bowel as you would be in a great deal of pain generally.

Severe pain could cause tachycardia as well as Anxiety. However as I am not a physician I would like to suggest you see a Cardiologist to evaluate your tachycardia futher.

Kindly,

Kitt
