Hello and congratulations to you
-an increase in your ejection fraction is a good thing. I would attribute your increase to your ICD/ pacemaker and repair of you aortic valve. Your pacemaker is doing it's job well.
A low ejection fraction may be due to a heart valve problem that can be corrected with surgery. Many patients will have improvement of their heart failure to normal or near normal heart function on medications alone, while others may require a pacemaker or surgery.
I am thrilled to hear you are doing better. Remember I am not a physician so do ask your Dr. this same question.
Keep on talking with us.
