What is an elevated c-factor

got blood work back today and dr is sending me to cardiologist, only 36! He mentioned an aniorism (do noot know spelling) or plaque...confused

Because of the inflammatory component of atherosclerosis, elevated CRP level has been linked with cardiovascular disease. However, based on the current available data it cannot be considered an independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease.
 
I would write down your questions for you Cardiologist and if you don't understand his response please ask him to put it in layman's terms.
