shelle,

Weight loss surgery has been around for years.  It come with some very high risks as well costs in the tens of thousands of dollars.

I feel that most physicians would prefer to see their patients learn to eat healthy and get out and exercise.  Keeping your weight under control has always been recommended for patients to prevent heart problems as well as other diseases.

I have read much on this surgery and I would encourage members to seek help through other methods before resorting to bariatric surgery.  Each of us is entitled to their opinion and I do not know you medical history or am I a physician.

Just wanted you to be aware and do your homework well before opting for this surgery. ((((((((((((Hugs)))))))))))))))))

Hoping you stay well and keep on posting to us.  Thank you for the link and the info was very interesting.

Kindly,

Kitt
