Hello and welcome to HealingWell,

In an effort to develop an amiodarone-like anti-arrhythmic drug without the same toxicity, Sanofi-aventis has developed dronedarone. They are similiar but not the same medication.

You might want to ask your pharmacist re the difference between the drugs.

Kindly,

Kitt

You might also want to ask about Rythmol (propaferone), also an anti-rhythmic. I'm having very good luck w/Rythmol, effective w/o encountering any side effects for me. (knock, Knock, KNOCK).
My computer says I need to upgrade my brain to be compatible with its new software.
