It probably isn't anything serious , but just curious as to what it is...?
The day before yesterday I just had it for like 5 breaths and that was it.
Then last night I hardly slept because it was hurting every couple breaths ( like every 15 minutes ) for like 3 hours... (and I was scared I wouldn't wake up lol)
Its not like an excruciating pain, just an obvious discomfort in my mid chest area
Like the title says im only 18.
And I know I exercise a good deal so I don't think it would be that. ( I'm not over or under weight)
Also I doubt its stress since I don't start school until August and have close to no priorities at the moment.

I used to be a health nut until  just this last year, and I'm still pretty good about my health.
(Although, I do eat 2 of these low calorie desserts from smart ones almost every day) I was thinking maybe all the artificial ingredients?)
I also eat a lot of tuna but its usually the only thing with a good deal of sodium that I eat almost everyday as well.

Lastly I was thinking... could the fact that I work out my chest be it. However, I've been working out consistently for years and usually my right and left chest are sore, never middle.

Hope I can have some insight
Thanks

Hello and welcome to HealingWell.  Even thow you are 18 if this is your first bout of chest pain may I kindly suggest you see your Dr.  It may just be sore muscles but you will feel better knowing you had a medical screening exam.

You are not alone here as many young adults have similiar questions.

I wish you peace,

Kitt
