Really how do you know if chest pains are from a heart problem or just anxiety. I've been having chest pains daily for the past few weeks and a tightness in my throat and pain in my left arm. I do have some risk factors heart disease runs in my family, have several members with heart problems .I have high bp and have had it for years. I've made an appt with a heart dr. but i'm wondering if it's just anxiety and not sure i should keep the appt. I could go on and on but there's no time at the moment. Thanks for reading my post,

I think it would be good to follow up with your appointment. So that you will know for sure what it is that you are dealing with. Can you take something to get your blood pressure down. I take diazide and it really helps. Also atenolol.

I sure do hope that you feel better soon.

Take care,

Hugs, Karen
