Hi, I am now 53 and generally totally healthy and extremely active other than: an unexplained "they thought I had a heart attack at age 23", then fine until 46 when I had two TIAs and just recently had a stroke/TIA (which left me unable to walk normal, think clearly, constant migraines for the first time in my life, etc.). All those symptoms disappeared after a 3 months thank goodness although still getting random shortness of breath and apparently blood is occasionally not getting to one eye causing some vision issues. This recent episode revealed a PFO. I am very excited to get it closed and am having it done on 7/21 and absolutely can not wait. Will keep you posted on progress. Wish I would have know earlier, however now have a new appreciation for life that just maybe had to be learned the hard way (for someone hard-headed like me-ha)! My best to all here...I know the sharing helps us all!
