Hello. I am 42 years old and have had a catheter ablation 2 years ago for pvcs. Everything was ok until about 6 months ago when they started again. Not only do I get the pvc episodes, but there are times when my heart races for no reason to over 100 bpms (while doing things like just sitting on the couch), and then will drop to about 40 bpms. My normal heart rate is around 55-60bpms. I am also getting chest pains in the upper middle left side, almost like a stabbing pain, and am fatigued alot easier. After a month of a halter monitor and stress tests, etc, my cardiologist has scheduled a test for Thursday where he will go in and try to find the area causing the pvcs (he said it may be in the same area, but sometimes people get them in more then one area), if he can find it, he will do an ablation while in there.

Has anyone else had to go through more then one ablation? We've tried medication, but with my heart rate normally low to begin with, it dropped it too much and I had basically no energy at all.

Thanks.
