Yesterday I went to the doctors and the nurse said I had ischemia in the postural valve ????????
Today I went to see my doctors he said there was minor changes on the ECG. He couldn't understand what the nurse meant. He did ask if I got short of breath on exertion, which I do not. I did mention the palpitations and chest pain on occassions. He did ask if I  had pain at the moment and I said no. H e said I could go into hospital if I wanted but I said no.
He also mentioned that sometimes pericarditis could show changes on an ECG, I have had pericarditis secondary to Lupus on several occassions. I often get pain in my chest and shoulder but think nothing because of the joint pain I sometimes get with the Lupus.
He has referred me to a clinic on the 22nd of this month.
Does anyone have any idea what these changes could mean. My doc said he didn't think it was angina because I don't get short of breath but he couldn't be sure.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks .

Good Evening,
I am surprise that your Dr. left the choice up to you to be admitted to the hospital or not especially as your EKG showed minor changes and you were asymtomatic.
Also he would be wise to talk with his clinic nurse and clarify that nurses do not interpret EKGs nor dx, at least not where I come from unless they are NPs. Just my 2 cents worth - not be judgemental. :-)

I would try not to overthink the results as you Dr. felt you would be OK however please do advocate for yourself if you suspect anything is wrong.
