I've finally met for the first time today another person who has this condition. It's where the
lobes of the heart are upside down on one side. This leads to mild to severe chest pains when
I get stressed out. It had gotten to the point where I thought I was borderline heart attack. As
my Mom died of a heart attack in her sleep at age 52 I was getting kind of concerned. I had
heart cath done and found the lobes upside down. If I researched this right it's called
"Situs Inversus". Does anyone else have this condition and what are your symptoms? I've been
using Co Enzyme Q-10 and Hawthrone Berry and have gotten off the toprol and nitro. Thanks
for your input.

hi im 20 & i too have a upside down heart.

so it all started in 2012 when i had my son the doctor checked my heart rate & got a shock my heart was beating at 140 more than twice as fast as someone my age (i was 18 then) should be.
after that nothing was done until a couple months later i was certain i was having mini heart attacks doing the smallest thing like bathing my son made me feel like k had just ran a marathon.

i then went to the doctors they ran tests & discovered i had another health condition., a over active thyroid which led to graves disease they gave me a ecg & chucked me on beta blockers i then had to have daily visits until my thyroid was in remission. that was middle 2012

but the end off 2013 i was having chest pains i knew myself there was more to my heart that my thyroid wasnt causing this as i was now clear of it so the doctors had yet another look & i had another ecg & that is when it was discovered my heart was upside down & i had a extra heart beat i got told its normal but very rare i am still not satisfied i believe i have a leaky valve as heart conditions are very common in my family.
it scares me i am only 20 i should not be having health issues i have a 2 year old son so i needa know all about this condition so i can understand gw better.
