"Usda Revamps Food Pyramid to Unveil New Symbol"

 

"The federal guidelines, updated in January, recommend eating up to 13 servings of fruits and vegetables a day and specify that at least three of the daily servings of grain be whole grains such as whole wheat, oats or brown rice."

 

I've been telling you fruits,  veggies and fiber cereal is the way to go these days! lol  Now I can't wait to hear what the new food symbol is?!  How about you? smurf

Here it is folks...right after I posted the above, I managed to track down the already unveiled new pyramid!

 

Go to the site listed below and take a look at it and tell me what you think!

 

I believe it looks interesting...perhaps with time we'll know the real results. yeah

I tried the "My Pyramid" with no results yet...perhaps they weren't quite ready for my onslaught! lol Though I did go to "What's inside the Pyramid" and that's kind of cool.

Wow Teri 13 servings is an awful lot. I thought i was doing good with 5 servings of fruits and veggies. I always eat whole grain so that's not a problem.

13 Servings ok.
