Hi! Just want to ask how angina diagnosed? I am 32 y/o and hypertensive. I have 2D echo result was LVH/enlarged heart, ECG Normal, Bruce Stress Test normal, blood exaMS cholesterol slightly elevated..

Sometimes, with or without physical exertion i feel difficult breathing, cold hands and feet but it will subside eventually. ONE thing i notice is when having may regular exercise i feel great but when i join races like marathon i usually push my self to the limit to win the event then i develop right arm pain, that will only subside after a couple of minutes ist angina?

correct me when i am wrong but angina is a chest pain that radiates in the arms usually left arm but also affects sometimes the right arms jaw and neck.. but in my case it is usually under my right arm spreading to the smaller finger, then i feel nervous, sometimes its hard to talk.

Can you help me guys identify if it is angina? what exams or lab test will i need to diagnose angina.. please help i dont want to die young!

Hey A.L.,

I am sorry but we are not physicians and cannot dx.  However, here is a great link that may help you understand angina so please do take a look and then go back to your Dr. to find out whether he feels you have angina and if so what is the plan of treatment going to be.
