Has anyone had this new Stress Test available, if so how did i go? I had it yesterday and had no discomfort at all and wondering if this was the usual?
Any input is appreciated. Thanks so much!

Kathy,

Congratulations on completing the PET scan without any problems.  :-)

During the stress phase of the PET the  medication through your IV that will induce stress on your heart. These medications may cause you to feel like you have been exercising. Patients sometimes experience a fast heart rate, headache, or a flush “warm” feeling during this portion of the test. Shortness of breath and chest pain may also be possible side effects.

It sounds like you experienced no side effects - Awesome !

Kindly,
Kitt
