Sorry to start another PVC/PAC thread especially for my first post but I have been googling and reading forums. This ones seems like it has nice helpful people so I want to share my story and see if you all can help.

When I was a kid I was diagnosed with a heart murmur which the cardiologist said was just an extra beat. Fast forward to when I was 25. That was a stressful time in my life and one day I got the random skipped beat or butterfly feeling in my chest. After that it was on with a vengeance. I had to be sent from work one day thinking I was having a heart attack. Eventually, I had a stress test done and was found to have a structurally sound heart with ectopic beats. Dr. said it wasn't PVC's but similar. I should have paid better attention but once I heard I wasn't dying I couldn't. I was put on beta blockers for a while and referred to a psychiatrist for other issues.

Come to find out I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder and OCD. I was taken off the beta blocker and put on Lexapro daily and Xanax as needed. Eventually the weird beats went away and I got back to normal. That lasted about for about three years. I would get the occasional skip but no runs.

I just got back from a week trip where I did nothing but drink coffee, eat, and drink beer. I had also never flown and was worried about that. I took Xanax on most of the flights. Now, that I am home the PAC's are back and kicking my butt. I am taking 3 or 4 Xanax a day to manage them but that makes me feel bad. Today I started taking B100 and Magnesium supplements in addition to my multi vitamin. I have also cut the alcohol for the last two weeks and really cut down on caffeine. They are getting better but I still have one or two runs a day. Am I on the right track?
