Hi: I am usually on the colitis forum but ran across this,thought it may be of interest here.
 Makes me wonder if all those cholesterol lowering drugs are really necessary.  This might be too simple eat lots veggies and grains with fiber,this generates these acids
in your colon.  Of course cholesterol comes from food, and your body also makes it.
This looks like a way to slow down the endogenous production.
