Hello,

I am experiencing problems with chest pain. It is not all the time however when it does occur, it is not very comfortable.

It happened this evening at 5pm just before I left work at 5.10pm. My chest became very painful on the left and I found it difficult to talk / catch my breath. This episode lasted about 10-15 minutes - I then walked home which usually takes 20mins and found that I felt quite dizzy and really tired.

I had this happen last week and found I had to sit down as standing up I did not feel quite right.

I am 30 years of age and am a little concerned of what this could be?

I am slightly overweight and also have IBS and find dieting very difficult.

Any advice would be really helpful.

Thank you.

Have you talked to your doctor about this? I think you should mention it to them. I hope you get some answers from some of the members here. Basically I wanted to welcome you to this forum...

Seconding the Mod--go see your doctor! I had about a year's worth of feeling tired and 3 weeks worth of "heartburn" before seeing my doctor and finding out I had a totally blocked coronary artery. A heart cath and a stent later and I'm feeling much, *much* better. Chest pain could be a lot of things, but best check with someone who can tell you for sure, so get thee to thy doctor!

I have been to see doctor and he is referring me for an ECG.

Also I have been signed off for 10 days with Chronic Depression - I was offered anti-depressants however I said no as have previously had ill-effects with these where I had felt worse for about 6 weeks.
