hey guys my name is mitch, i'm only 19 years of ageand for the past 4 and half months i've been suffering severe heart palpitations i can't walk anywhere without them occurring and also since it started i've had a pulsing throught the left side of my body mostly in my temple and neck, and i have quite frequent stabbing pains in my throat left shoulder where they artery runs between my bicep and tricep, i have been admitted to 3 different hospitals one said i was having cluster headaches, the other said i was having tension headaches and the 3rd said again it was only cluster headaches, but they all missed interpreted what i had to say, i dont have headaches !!! it is the a pulsing, imagine being able to feel your heart beat in your temple and neck 24/7 for 4 months, but because i presented all the symptoms for both of these illness's it was the easy way out for them i suppose, i have been on a wide variety of drugs, such as endone, paracetamol, amytriptiline, brufen, verapamil, and the list goes on, these have had no effect on me what so ever, even the endone which is supposed to make you feel a bit weird an out of it, has had no effect me at all don't even feel weird like your supposed to. so far the have found that since i had the illness that my ECG has shown a u wave or something like that, and this has only occured since, as i have had multiple ECG's done because of my history of having a murmur as a child. Due to all of this i have developed quite severe anxiety ( as you would expect ) the feeling i get when this happens is the feeling that i'm just about to die... so far ive only gotten worse and the pulsing as perpetuated into chronic migranes, Today i went for an angiogram and there results are fine so says the radiologist, but to anyone who can help me or send me on the right path my recovery would very very very appreciated sorry if this is to long to read but i thought i would give a detailed description to give an idea thank you !!! :)

Hello and welcome to HealingWell.

You may want to see a cardiologist and ask if you could possibbly have a PFO ?  Here is a link that explains PFOS as well as their connection to headaches:

Also feel free to post in our Anxiety Forum as many of our members experience what you are describing.
