I was just thinking how much we all use aspirin today.  Many of us take aspirin, not for pain relief, but due to it's use as an aid to help in the treatment and prevention of Heart Attacks and Strokes.

The following link is a timeline of Aspirin which I thought was interesting. yeah Hugs, Teri tongue

Another very useful link describing Aspirin and it's uses... yeah

"  Cardiovascular disease includes previous heart attack, ischemic stroke (a stroke due to a lack of blood flowing to the brain), angina (chest pain due to decreased blood flow to the heart), coronary artery bypass graft surgery, angioplasty, or transient ischemic attack (a brief blockage of blood flow to the brain that is usually a warning sign of a future stroke)."
