I am 32 years old.. i am athletic type... i do have hypertension and enlarge heart.. i dont know if my Left ventricle hypertrophy is just because of hypertension or my rigid training for duathlon... i also have anxiety... last year my sugar level went up to FBS 121... my doctor told me to diet and stay away from soda.. after two months my sugar level went to normal FBS 85.. and also after glucose tolerance test it came out it was normal...

my bp was always 130/90 to 140/100... so my doctor give mg beta blockers so it went down to 120/80 but sometimes it went high as 130/100... my problem is for 7 years i consistently felt right arm pain together with back pain and blurring of vision but it was relieve with rest.... also when i run and push my self to the limit i felt slight dizziness and hot flushes sometimes shaky but it was relieve after i rest...

i also have an inner ear disorder but i am really really confused if it a cause by my heart or inner ear disorder... sometimes i feel dizzy suddenly when something in front of me pass by... i thought i was moving around but the fact is that something is moving and not me..

also when i am stress i feel aches in my body... back pain, nape pain, arm pain... please help me... i been to a lot of doctors but no one can diagnose me.. some doctors told me its the heart but the other is the ears... please help

I am sorry to hear you are still having concerns re your heart as I know back in March you were experiencing what may have been angina.

As far as your question - is it your ear or your heart - what does you Dr. say ?  Remember Beta blockers slow your heart rate, which can prevent the increase in heart rate that typically occurs with exercise. This means that it might not be possible for you to reach your target heart rate.  Have you had a stress test since you have been on the beta blocker medications ?

Also could you possibly have an inner ear problem as well as your heart problem going on ?

Wish I had the magic answer but I do not so please make an appointment with your Dr. for medical advise.

Glad to here you are exercising - it is OK to rachet down how hard you push yourself.

Kindly,
Kitt
