I can see that it may be beneficial for us to have a sight to go to in order to help us with the medical terms that come up on this forum...I hope the following helps!!  Hugs, Teri tongue

Thank you, Teri. This is something I can use. I don't know all the acronyms, and especially when they don't particularly pertain to me. But I think it's important to stay informed!

I'm just 'bumping' this up~so we can keep it up towards the top of the board...it may help make it easier to understand some of the other posts and threads if we all know the abbreviations...

We do need to keep this one uup at the top even helps the new comers too.Man the abbreviations for  Heart Disease then my pet groups and what FEMA and EOC use I better kep them all straight or yu'll be puting me in a white straight jacket and sending me to a mental hopsitial thinking I have lost my mind.

No not rally EOC<FEMA<JFRD have alot of the same abbreviations too for we are also in the medical field. except some JFRD use  othr words too which i cannot say here or else  I might get my mouthwashed uot with soap. nono

But thank Teri for bumpin it up again cool

Teri

Like if I say I have SOB at church if anyone asks what is wrong with my breathing I say oph just some SOB . I'll be fine they think I am saying a bad word then I tell them what it is and they just give me a strange lok.

I'm glad you brought this up. Would it be possible to have this as a link on the home page when we come to the website? I kind of forgot we had it.

I'm not sure if that's possible...but I'll try to keep it bumped up!
