so i've been on the uc forum since january 04 - this past summer i finally got things figured out and have been med and symptom free for 6 months -
saw my regular doc in nov to get a refill on my asthma inhaler - during the exam he detected a murmur - then echo was done in dec -
small left ventricular size w/normal left vent global systolic function
mild concentric LV hypertrophy w'diastolic dysfunction is present - enlarged : (arortic root)
thickened calcified arortic valve w/moderate stenosis and mild regurgitation
thickened mitral valve
tricuspid valve w'mild regurgitation
pulmomic " " " "
mild mitral annular calcification
moderate pulmonary htn
blah blah blah
so, what the heck does all this mean - the doc explained it but my tiny brain did not compute -
am i up a creek without a poodle ?
should i cancel my subscription to longevity magazine ?
should i take the money i was saving for the upcoming future trip to mars and give it to the society for the prevention of rational thinking ?
any thoughts would be appreciated
