Hi and welcome to our new "chat" thread, where we are able to discuss heart problems, or anything else that comes to mind and pertains to our lives!! Just sharing another part of 'us'! :)

hi one and all,

now i'm confused - who had the endoscopy, barb or heidi?  i'm thinking barb, but whoever, i'm SO GLAD to hear you've had it and remember zero.  isn't that wonderful?  i'm like you, i'm due a colonscopy now, but not feeling anything like that might be a problem so i'm in no rush.  other things to take care of first, like dental probs. 

i'm still at mayo in phoenix, but i hope to go home to texas on friday or saturday.  but i don't have my big consult with the last guy 'til thursday quite late, so we'll see what he says.  i can't tell all of you enough just how outstanding it is to be here.  i love my home, but wish i could get medical like this nearby.  they are always on time, they are coordinated, they coordinate all your health care concerns (ALL), the technicians have been kind and compassionate and patient beyond belief, the doc's thoughtful and thorough and on time always, scheduling for all done by a central place, with you and your calendar in hand.  i can't say enough good things about this place.  i have only consulted with the cardio guy who pretty much agreed with my own doc, even though i didn't prompt him.  he did suggest a change or two in meds and i'll discuss that with my own guy when i get home.  but he feels like another heart cath right now would not be a good thing, might just encourage more scar tissue forming, so unless i feel much worse he thinks not.  he said once you get past 6-8 months with heart procedures that's an excellent sign - so teri, i know you're coming up on 10 months for your bypass, right?  looks like a great sign -

horrible gastro tests today, couldn't breathe, they called in the heart guys and they still don't know, maybe i just hyperventilated or somerthing, but my BP was 200+/something and they all were pretty worried, me too!  i also had a big fat barium swallow to tack on to the loveliness of the day and have been having "problems" ever since, if you know what i mean.  i won't go into detail!

LIlGAl getting yuor breathing machine I know it will help Stanley's cousin is on one and he felt better the first night he wore it.I'll be praying for your two friends.

Libby Texas is waiting on yuo I feel for you drinking that nasty stuff I know I cannot stomach some stuff they give me for my thyroid scans once every 6 months and that is coming upo July 11th.

Hey hey hey Hurricane hunters are going down to lok at a storm it might be our first topicial distrubance of the hurricane season So soon too but oh well.

We donot do our drill till July 18th. I hoipe it fizzles out for right now I couldnot handle it.

Yu allbe praying for me I will explain it later  had a shock on Monday and see the doctor tomorrow at 11:40 A.M. will post afterwards what happens. i am expecting it to be gone or allnormal i have my church and a bunch of friends from all over praying for me and I do strongly believe in the power of prayer.

somebody is praying for me yes for me  mighty hands are guiding me to prote4ct me from what i cannot see yes someone is praying for me and I do believe that and my guardian Angel on my shoulder. so I'll be on late in the afternnon or evening if they decide to run test. got to scoot alkong now and finishg my painting doing our bedroom a bright sunshine yellow oh so pretty too.

hi kathlyn, and welcome, you are a new moderator since i left for phoenix!

yes, i came here solely to seek medical advise - can't remember who asked that.  i tried to go to rochester, but they had a 6 month waiting list.  ugh!  and now i'm glad i came here instead, it's smaller, but not very, it's still an enormous place, and i found out that everyone in rochester is coming down HERE, the reputation is getting stronger all the time!  and it's probably a nicer place to visit than minnesota, although i wouldn't recommend doing what i did - coming to phoenix in the summer!  ugh.  105 next week.  only a texan is able to handle that, i'll betcha!

off for gastro consult today.  how nice, i know they'll be right on time.  in fact, they have a policy here, if YOU are more than 10 minutes late they assume you are not coming and you must reschedule.  zounds!

I am beat tired and even my hair hurts tonight LOL

I have done to much yesterday and today, finished up touching up masterbedroom bright suuny yellow then moved all furniture around inclkuding dressawers etc and now I am aching from head to toe will wash my hair over the sink then take a nice  soak in the tub with some epsom salts and a dab of perfume in it and hopefully sleep good tonight. Hubby mowe d half of front yard before calling it  quits. oph well he alwaysmprocrastants too and I will never get use to that.
