Just in case you've heard that by taking a statin you'd stave off getting dementia, or Alzheimer's disease?...you did hear wrong, I'm afraid.  The following explains more.

"After controlling for known or suspected risk factors, the researchers found patients who used lipid-lowering statins had no reduction risk of developing dementia."

So that can explain our memory losses or brain fog now we can blame it on the statins we are takeing

Hey, there's a flip side to everything....even heart disease. yeah I'm not AT ALL worried about dementia even though it runs on both sides of my family.
