1. Anticipate what situation or individuals trigger a stress reaction in yuo.

Prepare yourself in advance that yuo will need extra coping skills to handle this stress.

 

2. Taaake time to recover when a stressful event occurs.

 

3.Exercise is an excellent wy to "burnoff" stress.

 

4.Consult your healthcare professional if you experience constsant stres.Work together to identify specific ways you can reduce your stress.

 

5.Practice group and / or individual relaxation methods, such as deep breathing,imagining and mediation.

 

6.Try to find    the "silver lining" in a negatiove or stresful event.See obstacles as opportunties for learning.

 

7. Establish a belief system that provides meaning to yuor life and allows you to trust yuor environment.

 

8. seek social support from people around you.Build and /or further develop your intimate relationships,friendships and community outreach.

 

9.Don't become overwhelmed with yuor effforts to mahnage stress-relax and take baby steps !

 

10 Look for humor in dificult situations and take time to laugh each day.
