Pericardial effusion

Anyone have a small one and how was it treated?  Can it be caused by inflammation?

The term pericardial effusion describes a collection of fluid in the pericardial space.  Small pericardial effusions are often asymptomatic.  The prognosis for a patient with a pericardial effusion will depend on the underlying cause.
