Ok 10/8/10 had LAD stent...since NO issues at all...blood work is perfect...I run 5-1/2 miles almost everyday and the days I dont run I bike 25 54 yr old other health issues...1 yr after the stent he did a Echo stress test...perfect...then the following year a nuclear stress test because I though I was having pains...test result perfect...
Now I went for my 6 month check up today and he said " well its been about 2 yrs since your last stress test so I would like you to have another before the end of this year " I asked which kind he said "nuclear" I told him I hated that and had a bad reaction to the stuff they inject he said " ok we will do an echo"...he said :" I dont think there are ANY issues at all"
So is this jsut a nice money maker ??? And which stress test post stent is the best, nuclear or echo ??
Im tempted to cancel the apt but I dont want him ticke off either,,,,

A nice money maker may find something out of the normal.  I did not go to the Drs. when I was having symptoms of  a major disease and it was found by me PCP during my annual physical.
I would suggest following your Drs. advice.
Wishing you fair winds and following seas.
