Today I just found out through regular screen for my pregnancy that I have a Atrial Septal Aneurysm that is moderate to large in size. I'm 20 Weeks pregnant and had a ECO done because when I was 3 I had a ASD repair, and was diagnosed with Ebsteins Anomaly. I have been asymptomatic since the repair.
I'm worried. I never followed much about my heart because I never had complications. Now I'm worried.
Can this aneurysm burst? What happens if it does? What effects could it have on my baby and pregnancy?
I'm waiting for a follow up with a cardiologist and with a perinatologist but in the meantime I just want to get a general idea of what is going on since it will be at least a week before I get to see my regular Dr to be referred to a cardiologist.
Any advice or anything that I should know would be great. Thank you.

I am so sorry that you have run into this problem and I can understand why you want advice now.  As a forum we cannot provide you with a lot unless another person should come along that has experienced the same problem.
Atrial Septal Aneurysm (ASM) treatment depends on the type of ASM you have. This can be treated with a blood thinner like aspirin. However, being pregnant may change your treatment options. You should discuss this with your OB and cardiologist.
I am glad to know you are already booked to see a specialist in this field.
Try not to Google and know that if you feel something is not quite right - seek emergency.  I know it is hard not to worry but sometimes keeping busy with out plans helps take your mind off your worries.

Thank you for the reply Stkitt. :-) to get some reply is great!!!
I'm doing my best not to google but its certainly killing me not to. I hating having to wait for Drs appointments and referrals to go through so I can actually get some answers. I was just hoping that by some far shot someone would have experience this situation or something similar and have some type of idea or encouragement until I get to the specialist.
