the oat bran muffins taking 100 points off your cholesterol - please do post the recipe. Heidi, those were all good points that you made, but - I would say that foods that even have labels to read (which would be processed foods) are not the best foods for us to eat.
I really can't eat anything that comes in a box, can or jar. Those things are loaded with salt and preservatives and who knows what else, so I stay completely out of the center aisles at the store and just buy fresh meats (fish & chicken) and fresh fruits and veg's. and dairy (alot of yogurt).
I make fantastic coffee
but I'm a terrible cook, and I would love to have some recipes and some other ways of flavoring food without salt.
