What's your normal heart rate during regular activity (not resting, not exercising)? I've always found that my "normal" heart rate seemed a bit uncomfortably high, but I don't know if I'm just being anxious about nothing.

Can anyone tell me what your "normal" pulse rate is during daily activities, standing walking, shopping, talking, etc.?

I'd really appreciate some feedback and responses on this.

I've been to the cardiologist and they've found nothing unusual.

Hi there!!

Normally when I'm resting my pulse is in the low 50's
But when I'm doing daily chores or I'm out shopping it can raise to 80-90 BPM!
The other day I'd been sitting down then I got up to make some lunch and it went up to 110 BPM!
I've spoken to my cardiologist and he said thats normal!
And then he told me to stop checking my pulse! Lol :-)
I think you sound perfectly normal!!
I have 3 cardiac arrhythmias: PVC's....Occasional bouts of SVT....and occasional bouts of NSVT...all caught on heart monitors! But my cardio says everything is fine! And its only been in the last couple of months that I've stopped being so anxious about my heart!!
Hope this helps a little!! :-)

It sure does! That's exactly what I was thinking, but I (like you) have a normally low resting rate, so when I'm active my nervous system seems to overreact at times, and I am sensitive to it. I am going to learn to ignore it and go on about my business. It was making me anxious, and making it worse!

Thanks so much for the info.
