pounding heart at nite

   I am on Coreg 6.25 bid for 1 year for Tachycardia and mild HTN..My BP runs 120/78..FOr over 1 year--I feel and hear my hear beat in chest and neck when I lie down at nite..little bit better on my back..Echo, Carotid US ,EKG are neg..ANd lipids ok..and Cardiolite 3 yrs ago neg.. Any other reasons, just postural??

You're probably hearing the blood flowing through blood vessels in the ear area. When you have your ear on a pillow or mattress, you're blocking out environmental noises, so the normal noises of circulation become audible.
Usually not a sign of a significant problem. Changing position usually helps. Be sure to get your blood pressure checked to be sure that is not an issue.

thanks--is so nice to have someone give a reply so fast...AND I did change from Coreg back to zebeta and seems like less pounding...
