Glad to read you were in the right place when your heart arrested.  I am wondering what kind of questions you may have?  Your Cardiologist is your best source of information and I would have expected him/her to have talked with you at great length re your arrest and placement of the ICD.

You may post questions here as we do have other members with an ICD.

Here are a couple of links that are strictly for information only.  Nothing can take the place of your Dr.

The first link is from Boston Scientific, a company who produces ICDs.

This second link is from Medtronic, another company that produces ICDs so please remember the info about registering your devise with them is a moot point for you unless you just happen to have one of the Medtronic Devises.

Please continue to post with us and know we care.

Kindly,
Kitt
