Which one do you prefere plain water or flavored  water. Sometimes I drink plain water mainly when doing yhard work or doing   practice drills at Fire Academy . Then flavored water that is Caffine Free calorie and sodium free at home at night when inside the house. But what do you prefer to drink plain or flavored.?

And which do you think is better fro us with heart disease and why?????

I love water!

Plain water, well I should say filtered through my frig type of water.   smurf   I can't drink anything with caffeine, so I've tried on occasion to have a white soda, but water remains my main form of liquid intake. yeah When we go out out to eat, I sometimes ask for a twist of lemon or lime, so I can really live it up. eyes  I have picked up a fruit flavored water with a non sugar sweetner and that's nice for a change...but plain water is the bomb for me! lol

Water is the way to go. Healthy!!! And that is so important. All that flavored water is full of colors or chemicals, there is no way to create a flavored water without adding something to it. So I stick to the clear, natural stuff.... Good way to lose weight too!

I prefer filtered water, also. I have one on my faucet. Otherwise I could not drink the water here. It smells like river water. Ewwwwwwwwwwww. Anyway, I put it in a pitcher and into my frig so it gets very cold. When I go out I also ask for some lemon for my water. A floating pc of lemon does nothing for the taste for me, so I fish it out and give it a good squeeze. Basically I like water, but would prefer a good stiff Diet Dr. Pepper WITH caffeine if I had my druthers. I dont' have my druthers, so I try and stick to water and no caffeine like the diet rite pops that also have no sodium. I was going to say that I do like the flavored waters, but I don't tend to buy them very often. They sound like a good alternative for us soda addicts (me raising hand).

Hi All,

Did you know that the aspartame contained in diet drinks and some flavored water has been linked to Alzheimer's disease...so be careful.

Hugs,
Leonda
